Sidus Link Pro 2.4 brings lighting cues to Mac and Action Panel

Aputure introduced Sidus Link Pro 2.4 on June 16 for iPad and Apple-silicon Mac. Action Panel turns cues and Quickshots into configurable ‘Go’ controls and can hide the wider programming surface behind an optional six-digit passcode.
The Pro plan is listed at $10 per month; MAX extends control to four universes. Planning can move between Mac and iPad, while full DMX workflows still depend on the selected plan, compatible Sidus hardware and a correctly configured network.

Controlled delegation is the important part. A studio can programme a complex setup, then expose only a handful of safe states—interview, B-roll, background or house lights. The value may be fewer mistakes and support calls rather than more DMX features.
What we’re watching
We will watch Mac–iPad sync, latency, network-recovery behaviour and mixed-system compatibility. The simplified operator experience still needs validation with people who did not programme the system.
